I’ve came across Boxmopolitan a few weeks ago when I was readig a review written by Coolbrandz and decided to subscribe for a 3-month period to get their boxes, filled with hot new items from the areas of beauty, wellness, fashion, gourmet, art and design. Boxmopolitan is based in Zurich, Switzerland and aims to bring to you a cosmopolitan taste and introduce you to fancy new brands and products which are carefully selected by the curators of Boxmopolitan. You can choose between different subscriptions for one, three, six or twelve months and prices vary depending on the subscription you choose.
The edition that I received was the third this year, themed all in black and white and contained products from the brands KMS California, Cudié, Design Letters, Lola (CH), Pédale (CH), Edamama and Boxmopolitan itself. What I like a lot about the concept is that the box doesn’t just contain beauty trial sizes like other well-known boxes do, but rather a mix of different high-class full-sized products. Scroll down to discover the products of the third edition!
Lola Cola by Lola (CH) is a swiss made lemonade wonderfully balanced with the nuances of cinnamon, caramel, cola nut and herbs as well as some secret ingredients and contains fair trade sugar from Costa Rica. I have yet to taste it but already read that it’s very refreshing. And I absolutely love the design of the label.
TameFrizz by KMS California is a smoothing treatment for unruly hair to make styling easier. I absolutely love to try new hair products and can’t wait to use this intensive treatment that shall nourish and smoothen my hair.
The box also contained a cute little clip purse by Pédale (CH) to carry all small things with you. It can be used as a handbag organizer and be packed with keys, cash or make-up as its size is 14x14cm and thus offers enough space for your belongings.
Mmh you would love those! While typing I am munching on these delicious handmade confections made of caramelised marcona hazelnuts bathed in a secret dried-fruit praline recipe and decorated with cocoa powder. The Catànies by Cudié are so good they’ll be gone in no time.
Also included was this towel by Design Letters in minimalistic but timeless design with typography printed on it. It’s 100% made of cotton and highly absorbent and it does look really nice in your kitchen.
This is the product I am most curious about. These spaghetti are made from 100% organic black beans and are rich in protein, minerals and fiber. They are vegan, low carb, gluten and lactose free. That sounds super healthy, doesn’t it?! I can’t wait to try this pasta by Edamama. Those would definitely get a lot of attention when I’d bring them to the office.
Last but not least the box contained a brooch in Vichy pattern to give your outfit the finishing touch. The brooch is produced in Zurich specially for Boxmopolitan.
With the end of my post I also finished the Catànies by Cudié – such goodness! You can buy them on Westgarde.com by the way 😉 Boxmopolitan definitely gets a thumbs up from me and I am excited to see what’s in the next two editions.
